The Fatsia plant or Japanese Aralia comes from the sub-tropic forests of Japan,
Korea and Taiwan. Fatsia plants are a type of evergreen plant that can be grown
indoors as a houseplant and or outdoors in frost-free areas. A Fatsia has lush, dark green (hand-shaped) leaves that grow at the ends of stiff stems. Fatsia plants are compact upright plants that can grow up to 6 feet tall indoors and at a rate of 8-12” per year.
