Clivia miniata hybrids

Clivia plants are a relative of the Amaryllis plant. It has long, thick, dark-green arching leaves growing out of a large bulb. The lily shaped flowers are 2-3″ in size and can be orange, orange/red, yellow, or cream colored. Flowers appear in dense clusters of 15-20 blooms at the end of a long stem. The plant blooms for about 4 weeks during the late Spring and early Summer. Plant a Clivia in a heavy clay or ceramic pot to prevent the plant from tipping over.
