To Our Primex Family:

March 18, 2021

As temperatures warm and we shake off the last of winter, we are so happy to see so many familiar faces coming through our doors again. We wish we could see your large smiles, but that too will come in time. After last year’s business interruption we feel especially grateful to be celebrating our 78th year here at Primex.

We would also like to welcome all of you who are new to Primex. During the last 10 months we have seen so many new customers. The interest in indoor and outdoor gardening is  unprecedented across the country. We are incredibly fortunate to be in this industry.

Alongside all of this, we have experienced extreme demand for products. We’re dealing with inconsistent supply in many categories. From houseplants, to packet seeds, soils and pots, fertilizers, hose and basic tools, we’re running into changing supply issues daily. In addition to the pandemic, which has had a severe effect on the workforce, logistics issues and price increases are putting unusual pressure on us. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and THANK YOU for your patience and understanding. Our buyers are doing everything they can to keep our shelves stocked. Due to these circumstances, we suggest that you shop early and if there are specific plants or products you desire, stay flexible. Substitutions may be inevitable.

After almost 8 decades at Primex, one thing that remains constant is that our service has not wavered. We are committed to offering you one of the most complete assortments of horticultural products. Our experienced staff is always here to share information and advice to help make your garden experience successful.

We would like to remind all Primex visitors that we are committed to keeping our customers and employees safe at all times. We require masks be worn everywhere on the property and request that you maintain respectful distance while shopping.

We thank you for your continued patronage of Primex. We can’t wait to see you and we wish you a beautiful spring filled with good health, happiness and lots of sunshine.
