Digging in with Sally is our virtual spin on Garden Tenders, which is traditionally a space for community members interested in starting community gardens or as a space for those looking to beef up their horticulture skillset. Over six weeks, we will cover topics like COVID-19 safety in community gardens, basic horticulture, assessing and finding resources in your neighborhood, garden maintenance, and so much more. This webinar is Wednesdays, May 6, 13, 20 and 27 and June 3. This workshop has a limited capacity.

Home Food Preservation: Introduction to Canning, Freezing, and Drying Home food preservation is a lost art that was a staple of the American household of the past.

    Living on a Few Acres is seven-week webinar series for those who want to produce more of their own food on their property. This is an introductory course taught by Penn State Extension Specialists and Educators in their particular specialty area. Webinars are live on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and recordings will be available.
