Mounting Orchids – $45

If your orchid is out of bloom, this is the PERFECT time to add a creative touch to your décor by incorporating a mounted orchid! In this class you will learn how to mount an orchid. You will be receiving a small orchid to mount onto a piece of wood, with step by step instructions! All materials are included in the cost.

    Barred Owls is part of the Second Saturday Series presented by the Delaware County Master Gardeners and will teach participants all about Barred Owls.
     

    Barred Owls are known for their call, "who-cooks-for-who." In this multi-media program you will learn about their call, appearance, and secretive, unique, and very inquisitive ways. Find out about their behaviors and the close encounter our featured presenter, Pam, had with them at a local park.

    Flowering trees add long lasting beauty to residential landscapes. In addition to beautiful flowers, they can offer outstanding fall color, ornamental fruit, and lovely bark. At Flowering Tree Identification for Home Gardeners we will practice how to identify these trees using winter as well as seasonal characteristics and discuss attributes of available cultivars to help you improve your outdoor space.
     

    This course is for all persons interested in horticulture. No prior study of woody ornamental plants is required. Join us for classroom time and field study, if the weather permits, so please dress appropriately!
