Fall Vegetable Gardening – Saturday, September 15th @ 1pm

Are your cucumbers and zucchini spent, and your tomatoes have seen better days?  Our own Gloria Foran will teach you how to extend your harvest into the fall season (and beyond!). Learn how to select the best vegetable varieties for fall planting, and whether to direct-seed or start with transplants. She will discuss how to prepare and revive the soil and how to fertilize organically. You can harvest past the first frost by using row covers and other season extending techniques. Primex will have vegetables seeds and transplants available for you get your fall veggie garden started this weekend!
