Rebuilding Together Philadelphia
Serving communities throughout the Delaware Valley, Rebuilding Together is an organization working to repair the crumbling homes of low-income homeowners. Projects are performed by dedicated volunteers who work alongside the homeowners to complete home repairs, weatherizing work, and community beautification efforts. Each project is performed through a “block build” model, which begins with outreach to a community organization, and leads to the identification of blocks of homes most in need of repair. The rejuvenation process lasts for three to four weekends and results in communities that are sturdier, safer, and filled with pride.
